The main function of the filter is to moisten and warm the air that the child breathes in through the mouth (just as the nose otherwise does). In addition, the air filter also filters out 99.9% of viruses, bacteria, exhaust fumes, mould and other airborne particles that may be present in the air.
To prevent the filtering function from being affected, the filter capsule should be changed daily or when it has become wet or dirty. The filter capsule must not be washed, rinsed or boiled. The filter capsule must be removed when cleaning the pacifier.
Always check that the filter capsule is unbroken and clean and that it clicks and attaches properly when you screw it on. Also pull the capsule in different directions and make sure that it does not come loose or loosen.
