Paulownia, a sustainable wood

The storage box is made of paulownia, also known as the empress tree. It is a fast-growing deciduous tree that can reach 20 metres in height in just five years, making it an environmentally friendly choice. The tree originally comes from Asia but is now also grown in Europe. In addition to being sustainable, paulownia is unusually lightweight, making the box pleasant to handle.
