With this clever helmet cover, you can lock your helmet to your bike and protect the saddle from rain at the same time. When not in use, the helmet cover is rolled up and stored in a small box behind the saddle. This means that you'll always have the cover handy and can quickly unroll it when you park your bike.
When you unroll the cover, start by pulling it over the saddle and then pulling the drawstring tight. Next, undo the zipper, place your helmet under the water-repellent cover and then zip the cover back up and lock it with the included combination lock.
Your helmet is now safe and your saddle won't get wet when it rains. If you decide to take your helmet indoors over night, you can still use the helmet cover as a regular saddle protector so that your seat is nice and dry in the morning.
The small box that stores the cover is easily attached to the saddle using a single screw. Move your saddle backwards slightly so that the cover can be attached between the two metal bars that the saddle rests on.
The HelmMate helmet cover was developed in Denmark and awarded with a Red Dot Design Award in 2013.
Everything you need to attach the cover is included in the pack, even the combination lock. The instructions are in Danish and have clear instructional pictures. The instructions for the combination lock are in English.
The helmet cover has a diameter of 43 centimetres and fits most helmets.
