More Than One Story is an exciting card game that inspires and sparks personal stories. Whether you play it with family, friends, students or at an event with brand-new people, More Than One Story is a great way to get to know people better.

The idea for this card game was born after a lecture by author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichies on the danger that can arise when people only hear a single story about other people, be it from a group or an individual. She highlighted the importance of hearing a multitude of stories about each other to increase understanding and avoid prejudice. This inspired students and staff at the Culture and Leisure Administration in Simrishamn to co-create a fun and engaging card game that would highlight the existence of a variety of stories and perspectives.

How to play:
Before the start of the game, each participant gives a short presentation of themself. The oldest participant starts by 'drawing' a card from the deck and reading it aloud. Each card gives suggestions on which story the player should tell. The other players listen actively and can ask the narrator questions. When the player feels like they are finished with the story, the person puts the card down, and then it is the next person's turn.
