The Veggio "C" biodegradable net bag is a reusable bag to be used when shopping at the supermarket or as a storage bag for fruit, vegetables, onions and root vegetables. The food-safe mesh bag is made of cellulose from sustainably grown trees and at the end of its life can be added to the compost and turned back into soil.
Durable net bag
The cellulose material of the mesh bag is similar to the feel of regular cotton mesh bags. They are also similar in that they are durable and can be washed if necessary. The net bag holds about 5kg and has a practical drawstring closure to keep the contents in place.Environmentally friendly reusable option
The durable mesh bag will last for countless trips to the shop and is perfect for use when you're in the fruit and veg department. For example, you can use it to store potatoes, apples, lemons or many other fruits, vegetables and root vegetables. The biodegradable mesh bag is also 100% circular. This means that you can either recycle the bag as textile or add it to the compost when it has reached the end of its life. The bag is approved for home composting and the 100% compostable material breaks down over time and becomes new soil again.The best way to wash your net bag
The fine natural material means that the mesh bag will normally shrink slightly in the wash. To minimise shrinkage, the net bag should preferably be washed by hand or on a 30°C programme. Pull the bags slightly before hanging them up to dry.Available in a 1-pack or a 3-pack
