When your original LARQ filter has reached its maximum filter capacity, you can purchase an additional filter for your LARQ water bottle with filter cleaning. The LARQ filter filters and purifies the water in your water bottle, preventing the ingestion of contaminants, heavy metals and small particles. In addition, the water in your LARQ water bottle will taste better.

The filter has two layers and uses so-called Nano Zero technology and zerovalent iron technology. The two layers provide a combined protection that filters out contaminants, heavy metals and particles in the water.

What does the filter remove?

Some examples of what LARQ water treatment filters filter out from the water are: lead, chlorine, PFAS/PFOA, heavy metals, volatile organic compounds (VOC's), pesticides, mercury, cadmium, airborne particles, herbicides and other chemicals and microplastics.

Filter capacity

The LARQ filter can purify about 150 litres of water, replacing about 300 disposable plastic bottles. The filter should be replaced after 2 months, or after 150 litres have been purified. Soak the filter for about 2 minutes before drinking from the bottle.
