This product is a Swedish manufactured lifting strap that makes it easier and safer to mast on and off a sailing boat. With the lifting strap you can easily control the lifting point so that the mast hangs straighter, offering you more control during the lift.
With the lifting strap you hit the tamp above the spreaders instead of under them. Then thread the tamp through the lifting straps loops and anchor in winch or knob at the foot of the mast. Hook the mast crane's lifting hook into the lifting strap and start the lifting.
Since the lifting band doesn't need to lie beneath the spreaders, you can control in a better way where you want the lifting point to be. This gives you a better balanced lift with more control over the mast. It becomes easier to steer it on site.
When the mast is in place, release the tamp from the knob and pull it home on deck. The security strap in the middle of the lifting strap makes sure that the lifting strap doesn't fall off the lifting hook when releasing the tamp.
The lifting strap is manufactured and produced in Sweden.
The strap is CE-marked and made of 100% polyester.
