Länsman is a Swedish-made, wave-driven bilge pump that uses wind and wave power to pump water out of the boat when it is moored. The Länsman can pump up to 2,500 litres of water out of the boat per day and is easy to install, convenient to carry and lockable.
The Länsman is attached with mooring clips between the boat and the dock. When the boat bobs and moves, the mooring lines pull the pump. The pump, in turn, pumps the water through the hose and discharges it beyond the railing into the sea.
Pumping is fully automatic and works around the clock when the boat is moored.
