The moisture meter can be used to analyze moisture in a range of materials. For wood, this includes walnut, pine, ash, birch, oak, and spruce. For building materials, it works on concrete, anhydrite, lime mortar, and brick. This makes it a versatile tool for moisture control of walls, floors, or lumber before painting or installation.
Features that facilitate work
The HOLD function allows you to freeze the measurement value on the screen, especially useful when measuring in hard-to-reach spaces. The device also displays both the highest and lowest recorded values, giving you a clear overview of moisture variations in the material. The moisture meter has two specific measuring ranges depending on material type: 0-41% for wood and 0-12.2% for building materials.
Automatic shutdown and calibration
When the moisture meter is started, automatic calibration occurs, provided the electrodes are not in contact with any material. The meter also automatically shuts off after ten minutes, saving battery if you forget to turn it off manually.
Easy to use
To start the moisture meter, hold down the HOLD button. The same button is also used to turn off the device. Set which material you want to measure via the M button and then hold the electrodes against the material. Press HOLD to lock and read the measurement value. Two AAA batteries are included, allowing you to use the moisture meter straight out of the package.
