Built-in blade sharpener

Behind the sliding blade guard is a small ceramic ball that sharpens and maintains the blade as you open and close the guard. When the potato peeler is not in use, the sharp blade is protected behind the blade guard and does not risk being dulled by other tools in the kitchen drawer.

Sturdy handle provides good grip

The potato peeler has an ergonomic handle that fits both right and left handed people. The handle gives you good control and has integrated drainage channels for easy cleaning and drying. The blade is not completely statically attached to the handle, which is intentional as it can better follow the shape of the root vegetable.

Scoop 

At the far end of the peeler is a handy little scoop. It allows you to easily remove unsightly bruises and holes from your potatoes.
