Genuine Marseille soap with olive oil from Chamarrel. Large! Organic, economical and versatile soap. Use as soap and for home cleaning. Dye free, preservative free, fragrance free. Made in Marseille using a three hundred year old artisanal method. The production takes place in a traditional soap factory, Entreprise du Patrimoine. Artisanal and authentic Marseille soap: What does it mean? Since the soap is authentic and artisanal, don't be surprised by the following possible observations: 1. The weight of the soap Over time, the water evaporates and this means that the soap loses weight. Therefore, depending on its degree of drying, the soap can weigh from 5% to about 25% less than its fresh weight (220g for a 300g soap). But drying is not a disadvantage, on the contrary! The longer it dries, the better it is and the more economical it is to use. 2. The white dots. It comes from artisanal production, and in particular from washing the soap paste with salt water. It is simply the salt that appears when the water evaporates from unrefined soaps. If it bothers you visually, hold the soap under water and rub it to remove the salt. Salt stains are a guarantee of quality. 3. The color of Marseille soap changes As Marseille soap dries, it becomes lighter or a different shade. The colors of the soap and their variations are natural and unique to artisanal and unrefined soaps. Comes without packaging.
