With a pollen net for the window, you can reduce the amount of pollen that enters the home when you have the window open during pollen season. The white fleece material shuts out up to 97% of the pollen particles and at the same time protects against dust, dirt particles and insects.
Eco-labeled
The pollen net is labeled with the German environmental certificate Blauer Engel (Blue Angel) and has been tested in pollen chambers. The tests showed that birch pollen decreased on average by 88.8% and alpine pollen up to 97.1%. Other airborne pollen types decreased with values between these two.*
Also functions as insect and privacy protection
In addition to pollen, the dense fleece net also shuts out dust and dirt particles and keeps out insects. The dense fleece is difficult to see through so also works well as privacy protection.
Installation
Thoroughly clean the window frame with 100% alcohol or other effective grease and dirt remover. Cut and fasten the Velcro around the window. Wait about 2 hours for the tape to harden. You can then press the pollen net into place. Once the net is in place, you can cut off any excess net.
Washing instructions and durability
Depending on the amount of pollen and where you have mounted the net, the pollen net often needs to be replaced after one season. However, a slightly dirty pollen net can be hand washed or washed at 30 °C on a gentle wash program. The net should not be ironed.
