Candlestick with a Clamp
- Clever clamp
- Hand cast iron
- Additional tea light holder available for purchase
This clever candlestick has a strong and practical clamp so that it can be attached to different places around the house. The candlestick is made of hand-cast iron and has a beautiful candle holder for tapered candles at the top.
The clamp easily attaches the candlestick to a shelf, windowsill or a table. The candlestick is equally easy to remove if you decide to move it. The clamp has soft felt pads on the inside to protect whatever surface it is attached to.
The candlestick with a clamp is hand cast by Emelie Nilsson at the family-run business VÅGES, which was named after the founder Våge Gustavson. The family has worked as smiths since 1875 and the profession has been passed down through five generations. Today, the company is run by, among others, Våge Gustavsson's four children.
The candle holder can be removed and replaced by a candle holder for tea lights (not included).

Emelie Nilsson is currently a designer and CEO at the company Våges. Her innovation, a candlestick with a clamp base, was originally inspired by her grandfather, but her family’s interest in forging metal goes back further than that. The story begins in 1875.
–With my grandfather’s clamp, I made my first prototype. I wanted to make a fireproof candlestick that wouldn’t tip over. A slightly taller model that wouldn’t take up too much room on a table or by a window.
