The double-sided Gorilla Tape is a smart and water-resistant tape that can be used for permanent installations and repairs, both indoors and outdoors.

The highly concentrated, rubber-based, adhesive material on both sides gives a hold that allows you to quickly mount an object or attach two things to each other.

The tape is suitable for use with objects that has a maximum depth of 1,9 cm and can hold up to 13,5 kilos of weight. As long as both of the surfaces are levelled, the tape will stick on both flat and rough surfaces.

Which materials do the tape work on
You can use the tape on objects made of metal, wood, glass, brick, ceramics, stone, and many types of plastic*. The tape should be mounted in room-temperature, but can withstand temperatures from -40 °C to 120 °C once the object is in place.

The tape should not be used on wallpaper, delicate surfaces, *polyethylene, polypropylene plastics, PVC, and other surfaces that lacks attraction or has a high amount of oil or plasticizer.

Preparation
Make sure that the surfaces are dry, clean, and flat. You should install the tape in at least 10 °C.
Make sure that the object you want to mount is not deeper than 1,9cm. Estimate roughly 23 cm tape for every kilo of weight.

Mounting
Place the tape vertically on the object that you want to mount. That will allow a more even distribution of the weight. Cut off and push the tape in place.

Positioning
Remove the protective layer from the tape and position the object where you want to mount it. Attach the object and keep it in place with a hard pressure for at least a minute. That will allow the tape to create a strong and permanent hold.

Note
The tape is meant for permanent use and can leave marks. Never mount an object with the tape at a place where it can be dangerous if it falls down. The tape should not be used together with food and should not be used instead of electrical tape. Store the tape cool and dry.
