LARQ Pitcher Filter Advanced is a plant-based nano-carbon filter that replaces the original filter in your pitcher LARQ Water filter jug. The filter removes a variety of substances that make water cleaner, reduces unwanted odours and removes off-flavours in drinking water.
The plant-based nano-carbon filter removes chemicals, heavy metals, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) PFAS/PFOA, pharmaceuticals and microplastics down to 40 microns in size. Once purified by the filter, the water will not only be cleaner, it will also smell and taste better.
How to change the filter
Before installing the filter, soak it for about 10 minutes in water. Then place the filter in the water purification jug and put the filter lid on. Then fill the jug with water. Once the water has passed through the filter, pour the water out and then refill the jug and use it as usual.What are the black particles coming from the filter?
When the filter is new, or if the jug has not been used for a while, you may see traces of black carbon in the water. This is completely natural and harmless and is just plant-based carbon residue from the filter. You can replace the water if you wish, but it is not necessary.How often do I need to change the filter?
