The LARQ thermos bottle with UV purification is the world's first self-cleaning water bottle that also purifies the drinking water in the bottle from potential bacteria and viruses. Portable UV purification allows you to purify water on the go and the insulated walls keep drinking water cold for up to 24 hours and hot drinks hot for up to 12 hours.

The thermos is perfect for use as a water bottle on excursions, hikes and trips. The portable purification system ensures that potential bacteria are removed from the water you fill up from water fountains and streams in nature. The self-cleaning thermos bottle regularly cleans the inside of the bottle, ensuring that you always have a clean water bottle to drink from.

How water purification with UV-C light works

Using patented and award-winning UV-C LED technology (PureVis™), it neutralises potential bacteria and viruses that may be present in the drinking water. The LARQ thermos is easy to use and with the push of a button on the lid, the drinking water and the inside of the bottle are purified.

You can choose between two different cleaning modes.
Normal mode (60 seconds): cleans the bottle and improves water quality.
Adventure mode (3 minutes): a more thorough cleaning of the water and bottle, good when you've tapped water from a more uncertain source.

Pulsating light indicator on lid

The ring of light on the top of the lid can indicate several different things. For example, it shows a pulsating light blue light when the bottle is cleaned in normal mode and a dark blue light for adventure mode. The light indicator can also show the charging status and warn if the water in the bottle is too hot.

Self-cleaning water bottle

As long as you don't turn off the cleaning (by pressing and holding the button for about 5 seconds), the bottle will clean itself every two hours.

Battery life

The PureVis™ lid has a built-in battery that has about 1 month of battery life in normal mode and about 10-12 days in adventure mode. Use only the supplied USB cable to charge the lid. Charging time is about 1 hour.
