Rinse out the carton in warm water with a bit of dish soap and let it drain. Then open the top to create a straight edge and cut the carton to the height you want. Next, choose a lid: blue lid for cartons with a flat top and red lid for cartons with a pointed top.For dry goods, it's advisable to let the carton dry completely inside before filling. When storing in the fridge, you can conveniently label the carton with contents and date. When the carton becomes worn, recycle it, keep the lid, and use it on a new, clean carton.
