The reversible grill and frying plate from Satake's new Satake Outdoor® range takes your outdoor cooking to the next level. With the Satake grill and griddle, you can easily vary your cooking and choose whether to use the grill bars on one side or the smooth frying plate on the other.

The rectangular grill is ideal for either frying or grilling and is equally good for cooking meat, fish, vegetables and seafood as it is for frying pancakes or baking oblong pizzas. The reversible grill and frying plate can be used on the barbecue, over an open fire or on old stove tops and gas cookers.

Grill plate on one side

One side of the griddle serves as a grill plate and is equipped with grill bars. Raw materials are lifted a few millimetres above the surface for perfect cooking and an attractive grill pattern.

Frying plate on the other side

The other side of the griddle has a completely flat surface. The flat frying surface is perfect for smashing hamburgers or using it as a frying plate for smaller ingredients that could otherwise easily get stuck and fall through the grill grate. The flat side also has a practical drainage area for grease and oil, which prevents the food from boiling.

Care instructions - cast iron

To keep your griddle in the best possible condition, it is important to clean it properly after each use. Use warm water and a soft brush or sponge to wash the griddle and remove food residue. Avoid using dishwashing liquid as it can destroy the natural coating.

Once you have cleaned the griddle, it is important to dry it immediately. Make sure it is completely dry before storing it, otherwise there is a risk of rusting. It is also a good idea to oil the griddle regularly. This will preserve the surface and keep your griddle in good condition for a long time.
