Monte Raw is a round cast iron grill plate that you can use on the barbecue, stove, oven and over an open fire. The grill pan is ideal for cooking meat and fish, but also vegetables and seafood that would otherwise easily fall through a grill grate. The cast iron ensures even cooking and a fantastic result every time. In addition, the food gets lovely grill stripes that are also pleasing to the eye.
Perfect for outdoor cooking
The round grill plate is a great tool for outdoor cooking. You can use the grill plate on charcoal and gas barbecues, but also over an open fire when camping or barbecuing on the beach. Place the grill pan on the barbecue and once the griddle is hot, you can start grilling your food. The edges on the side of the grill plate make it easier to grill your food without worrying about it falling into the fire.
Can be used in the oven and on the hob
The grill plate can also be used in the oven (up to 250°C) and on many hobs, including gas and induction. Perfect for getting that barbecue feeling even in bad weather or when you don't have access to a barbecue.
Made of cast iron
Cast iron is an easy-care material that conducts and retains heat well. The food is cooked evenly and you get a good flavour from the grilled food. Cast iron is a very durable material that can last for years if properly cared for.
Care instructions for cast iron
Clean the plate thoroughly after each use. Use only warm water (no detergent) and a soft brush or sponge to remove food residue and dirt. Wipe the plate immediately after cleaning and make sure the plate is completely dry before storing it. If you leave it damp, it can start to rust. Also make sure to oil the plate often as this will help prevent rust and keep the plate in good condition.
