LifeVac is safe to use for both children and adults. Each pack contains three nozzles suitable for children, young adults and adults, as well as a face mask. For children under 10kg, LifeVac should only be used with the mask labelled "Pediatric".How to use
1. Select a suitable mask size and insert it into the base of the device by pressing and twisting simultaneously.2. Place the mask close to the mouth and nose of the victim.
3. Press down to create a vacuum and hold the mask firmly in place with your free hand to ensure a good seal.
4. Pull the handle up in a quick and forceful motion to release the blockage in the airway. If necessary, repeat the procedure.
LifeVac can be used on people who are sitting down, standing up or lying down. NOTE! Always ensure that the head is well secured and that the airways are kept free, for example by ensuring that the mouth is open.
Disposable use
LifeVac is intended as a disposable product and should therefore be replaced after use (if necessary, the device can be used repeatedly in the same situation). Each pack contains three masks and a test mask (marked Test Mask) so that you can familiarise yourself with the device before it needs to be used in an emergency situation. The masks have an expiry date and should be replaced when the date has passed. The expiry date is indicated on the back of the manual.Specifications
