The waterproof padlock from ABUS is a 100% stainless and weatherproof padlock that is developed for being used outdoors and in marine environments all year round. The padlock is suitable for items of medium high value, with an average risk for theft. Use it for chains, storage units, gates, sheds, lockers, and more, especially if located outdoors and exposed to extreme weather.

The whole lock, including the interior parts, is made of rustproof materials. On top of that, the massive brass lock, and the sturdy steel shackle both have a protective layer of plastic that prevents the lock from scratching things in its vicinity.

The padlock also has a protective lid that prevents dirt and water from getting inside the locking mechanism, and there are built-in drainage tracks that leads it away if it ever does as an extra safety measure.

The waterproof padlock is delivered with two keys. You do not need to have a key inserted into the lock to push the shackle down.

The lock is made by the family company ABUS from Germany.
