The grater spoon, from German company Westmark, combines a sharp grater with a real stainless steel spoon. The sharp grating surface sits in the middle of the large spoon, that captures your gratings. When you have finished grating, you can easily mix what you have grated directly onto food, or into drinks, with the large spoon.

With the grater spoon, you can grate everything from ginger, turmeric, garlic and chilli, to skins from lime, dried fruits, as well as whole nutmeg and rock salt. The sturdy handle gives you a good grip and the sharp grater shreds in both directions.

The spoon is made of food-grade stainless steel and is useful for cooking, baking and when mixing drinks. When you are not using the spoon, you can easily store it in the cutlery drawer.

To keep the grater sharp, you should preferably avoid washing the spoon in the dishwasher. However, the spoon is easy to wash by hand with a little detergent.
