The Thermo Distance fever thermometer is a fast, hygienic and user-friendly forehead thermometer that measures body temperature without touching the skin. The infrared technology provides an accurate reading in just one second, making it easy to check fever - even on sleeping children. Fast temperature measurement without contact
The Thermo Distance fever thermometer uses infrared measurement technology to read the temperature from a distance of up to 5 cm. Since the measurement is done without physical contact, you can check fever without waking or disturbing your child. The non-contact technology also reduces the risk of transmitting bacteria and viruses between family members, making the thermometer a more hygienic and safer option compared to traditional models that are inserted into the mouth, ear or armpit.
Colour-coded display
The backlit LCD screen clearly displays the measurement result and uses colour indication to make interpretation easier - green screen means normal temperature, while red screen (>38°C) indicates fever. This makes it easy to quickly recognise if someone has a fever, without having to read exact numbers.
Temperature history memory function
The thermometer automatically saves the last 9 measurements. This is particularly useful for tracking the development of fever over time, without the need to make manual notes.
Also measures surface temperatures
In addition to body temperature, Thermo Distance can be used to measure the temperature of surfaces, such as a baby bottle or baby's bath water. It also works great for checking room temperature. Thermo Distance comes with two AAA batteries, so you can start using it straight away.
Proceed as follows
1. Press the measurement (M) button to switch on the thermometer (hold the M button for five seconds to toggle between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C)).
2. Position the thermometer 0-5 cm from the pan and press the M button again (a double beep indicates that the distance is correct).
3. If the position is correct, release the button but hold the thermometer still against the pan until you hear another double beep - this means the temperature has been recorded.
4. The display will now light up and show the temperature (a colour indicator around the ring (green or red) shows whether the temperature is normal or elevated).

For optimum performance, the thermometer should be stored and used in the same room. Avoid using it within 30 minutes of eating, exercising or bathing, as the body temperature may be temporarily elevated.
