The knitted cap with head protection from OICAN features a soft and flexible integrated cushioning that provides an extra protective layer on the front and back of the head. The thin and form-fitting design sits comfortably without restricting natural movement. The cap is developed for everyday situations, play, and movement and is made from soft and durable materials. It can be used by both children and adults.
Protection against minor falls and impacts
Inside the cap, there is LAYR which is a unique protection technology that is only 5 mm thin. The protective elements absorb and disperse parts of the force during minor falls and impacts. The protection is discreetly integrated over the forehead and back of the head, two of the most impact-vulnerable areas of the head, without compromising comfort or fit.
Comfortable and durable
The exterior of the cap is made from 100% acrylic and the interior from 95% polyester, making it durable and comfortable to wear for extended periods. It is elastic enough to fit various head shapes without becoming too tight or sliding off. Only hand washing is recommended.

A Swedish innovation
OICAN is the result of extensive research and advanced technology, developed through close collaboration between sisters Sofie and Sarah Hellström, material experts, designers, and engineers. The cap contains a carefully tested protective material that has been tested by RISE. OICAN is also classified as personal protective equipment according to PPE category Ⅱ and meets the requirements of EU Regulation (EU) 2016/425.
Important to know
The cap does not replace a CE-marked safety helmet or other certified protective equipment. For the protection to cover intended areas, it is important that the product is worn and placed correctly, therefore always follow the accompanying user manual. No protective product can eliminate the risk of injury.
