Where do microplastics come from?
Microplastics usually come from scraped fibres and particles from carpets, clothes, curtains, upholstered furniture, blankets and shoes, which then get caught in dust balls. As you scrub the floors, the particles are captured and when you wring out the mop, the small particles are carried into the dishwater. The filter effectively collects and stops microplastics and prevents the small particles from polluting the sea.When can I use my filter?
The sink filter is designed to be placed in the sink and can be used to filter the water from hand washing, tumble drying and floor cleaning. The filter fits most sinks and has a proven effect (see test results). Clean the filter by brushing it with a soft brush and dispose of any dust particles in the rubbish bin. Please do not vacuum the filter during cleaning.Please note that the filter surface can be damaged when using water above 90 degrees, acids, sharp edges and high loads. The filter should also not be used for varnishes, oils and solids.
