The roof box is crash tested according to the same standards used for car child seats, providing higher crash safety than many traditional roof boxes. The construction is based on a stainless steel chassis, aluminum stabilization, and reinforced sides made of hard plastic, combined with a durable outer cover made from weather-resistant 900D Oxford fabric. The roof box is developed in Sweden and adapted for Nordic conditions.
