FabPatch Extreme is the most durable patch of all FabPatch clothing patches. The self-adhesive patches are highly abrasion-resistant and have a water-repellent surface that makes them ideal for use on outerwear, textiles and outdoor equipment.

Self-adhesive patches for outerwear

The patches can be quickly applied over a hole or tear, and you don't need to sew or iron to make them stick. Easy to use even when you're outdoors, you can fix a broken jacket, trousers, rucksack, shoes, furniture and other items in just a few minutes.

Application of FabPatch Extreme

Remove a piece of the protective paper from the adhesive surface and measure the patch over the hole. Peel off the last piece of protective paper and put the extreme patch in place. Avoid touching the adhesive surface. If the hole is large, you can reinforce the repair by putting a patch on the back as well.

Suitable textiles for use

The patches have a slightly lower elasticity than FabPatch Original and are mainly suitable for non-elastic materials, although they will work on some elastic materials. However, they should not be attached to jersey or other extremely stretchy textiles.

Can be washed in a washing machine

The sheets can be washed in a washing machine at a maximum of 40°C and can be ironed and tumble dried. Avoid washing with bleach, fabric softener, laundry soap or vinegar. Allow the adhesive and patch to set for at least three days before washing or stretching the fabric.

Sustainability

FabPatch Extreme is very durable and therefore can stay in place for several years. However, it's good to know that FabPatch has a harder time sticking to clothes that contain fabric softener, chemicals and coatings of various kinds. However, at best, the patch should last a few washes if used properly. If the edges become wrinkled after a while, which is natural, you can trim them with scissors.

Material

The patches are made of 90% polyamide and 10% elastane. The adhesive is REACH certified and contains no substances of animal origin or SVHC (substances of very high concern). The patches have a positive carbon footprint as they extend the life of the repaired item and reduce its carbon footprint.
