A baking mat is an easy way to give your baked food a crispier surface. The mat helps spread the heat evenly and also catches excess cooking fat, which cuts down on the amount of fat as well as giving you a crispier surface!
Place the mat on an oven tray or baking rack and then place your food on top of it. The small hemisphers on the surface ensures that air can pass through underneath the food while the excess fat and oil trickles down into the mat. This way even the bottom of your food will have a crispy surface. It is perfect for potato wedges, chips, chicken, vegetables and lots more!
The baking mat is made of food-grade silicone and can be washed in the dishwasher. Roll the mat up when not it use to make it easier to store.
The baking mat is 40 x 28 x 1 cm and fits standard ovens.
