With Tractive's GPS for dogs, you can follow your beloved pet's every move in real time. The easy-to-use app shows your dog's current location, location history and daily activity. You can also set up digital fences to notify you when your dog noses off on new adventures. Plus, you'll get notifications about your dog's health - the GPS tracks heart rate, breathing, sleep and movement, which can help you spot signs of stress, illness or pain early on.

Smart GPS for dogs

Tractive GPS is a great addition to the hunting season, at home or at the summer cottage where your dog is free to roam. The small GPS tracker attaches to your dog's existing collar and is 100% waterproof to a depth of 1 metre.

App

The Tractive GPS Pet Finder app gives you all the information about your pet's movements and lets you see your dog's favourite spots on the heat map. If you're worried about your pet running away, you can define a safe zone that acts as a virtual fence. When your dog leaves the safe zone, you'll be instantly notified on your phone.

Activity tracking and health notifications

With Tractive's GPS, you get more than just tracking - you also get an overview of your dog's health. Thanks to sensors that record heart rate, breathing, sleep and movement levels, the app can detect early signs of stress, illness or pain. You'll be informed via in-app notifications or email, so you can act quickly if anything seems out of the ordinary. This gives you extra peace of mind in your everyday life and an opportunity to prevent ill health.

Danger reports in the neighbourhood

The app allows you to see pet hazards reported by other Tractive users in the neighbourhood. These can include harmful plants, dangerous animals or areas with glass, rubbish or poison. You can also easily submit reports yourself to help protect other animals in the area.

Shell tracking

The integrated shell tracking feature allows you to identify stress, illness or separation anxiety in your dog. The tracker has a sensor that distinguishes between barking and other sounds, such as breathing or movement, and records an individual baseline of how much your dog normally barks. Every day, you'll get a visual overview showing whether your dog is barking more or less than usual. By comparing with previous days, you can spot patterns or triggers - for example, increased stress when lonely or reduced barking when sick.

Live tracking

By default, the GPS sends a new location update every 2-60 minutes depending on your pet's activity, but you can also live track your pet. When you turn on live tracking, the GPS sends the dog's location between every 2 and 3 seconds to your smartphone and you can follow the dog in real time on the map with an accuracy of 5-10 metres. You can also activate both light and sound on the tracker to make it easier to see the dog when it's dark outside.

OBS! The live tracking feature consumes more battery. Check the battery status in the app after using the live tracking for a longer time.

Select a subscription to activate the built-in SIM card

The built-in SIM card automatically communicates with the best available mobile network at the time. The GPS can connect to multiple carriers, making it possible to track your dog in over 150 countries. Tractive pays all cellular charges but in return charges a fee from about 50-100kr/month (depending on the type of subscription and commitment period) for you to use the service.

Charged with the supplied charging cable

Make sure that the GPS tracker is always charged before using it. The GPS has up to 14 days of battery life at the lowest update interval. The GPS is switched on and off with an ON/OFF button on the tracker.
