The Fruit Collector is a smart harvesting net that you tie and stretch around the trunk of the fruit tree. The harvest net catches the falling fruit, which lands softly and rolls out to the edges of the harvest net where the fruit is easily collected.

Soft landing for the fallen fruit

The harvest net sits slightly elevated from the ground and acts as a soft safety net for the fruit that falls from the tree. The soft landing is gentle on the fruit, which is spared unnecessary fall injuries. In addition, the harvest net protects against soil moisture, dirt, crawling insects, worms and slugs as the fruit is not lying directly on the ground.

The many advantages of the harvest net make the fruit keep its shape longer. The amount of fruit that can be used increases and you don't have to throw as much rotten fallen fruit on the compost heap.

When it's time to harvest the fruit, stretch the harvest net under the fruit tree. The ripe fruit can then be harvested quickly by shaking the fruit from the top branches. The fruit lands softly in the net and can be collected quickly.

Available in three sizes

The harvesting net is available in three different sizes. All sizes are flexible when it comes to the circumference of the fruit tree trunk as the net is attached with both string and Velcro. It does not matter if the trunk is narrower or if it is a slightly thicker trunk so that there is a small opening in the middle. Choose the harvesting net that best suits your fruit tree and your surroundings:

Harvest net 2,5 m x 2,5 m

Fits trees with a trunk of about 20 cm in diameter.

Harvest net 2,6 m x 2,6 m

Suitable for trees with slightly wider branches and a trunk of about 30 cm in diameter. Has slightly higher ground stakes and can also be used on slopes.

Harvest net 3,2 m x 2,8 m

Suitable for large trees with more spreading branches and a trunk of about 30 cm in diameter. Has slightly higher ground stakes and can also be used on slopes.

The Original Fruit Collector is a high quality Finnish innovation that can be used for years. The harvest net can be washed in the washing machine (max 40°C) after the season so that it is clean and ready to use for the next season.
