Place the electrode pad on the part of your body where you experience pain. Make sure the plate is tight and secure against the skin to ensure optimal effectiveness of the treatment. Press the ‘ON/+’ button to switch on the TENS unit and adjust the intensity by pressing ‘ON/+’ and ‘OFF/-’.The TENS unit offers three different treatment modes that you can switch between by pressing the ‘ON/+’ button. These consist of a mild and a strong pulse as well as a combination of the two. There are a total of 12 intensity levels to choose from.
Things to consider
To ensure optimal effectiveness, you should make sure that the gel pads are firmly attached to the skin. They should be clean and dry for the best possible contact. If the gel sheets lose their adhesion, moisten them lightly with water to restore their stickiness. Keep the protective plastic that comes with them to keep the gel sheets sticky between uses. The gel pads can be replaced if necessary.
