- Collects tealights for easy recycling
- Made in Sweden from durable cardboard
- Stylish design to hang or display
Every year we Swedes use hundreds of millions of tealights, and all those small aluminium cups can actually be recycled. With this clever tube for tealight recycling, it becomes easy to gather them until it's time for the recycling station. A small effort for the environment that also looks great.
How tealight recycling works
The aluminium cups are fully recyclable, but the wick holder at the bottom has to be removed first. It's easily done with a light flick. Instructions are included showing you how to do it and why it's important to ensure the aluminium can be recycled efficiently.
Practical design that fits anywhere
The tube has an openable lid at the top and a fixed riveted plastic lid at the bottom, making it easy to fill and empty. Measuring 10 cm in diameter and 42 cm in height, it holds plenty of tealight cups without taking up much space. The included leather strap lets you hang the tube on the wall, in the broom cupboard or in the hallway.
Swedish-made quality
The recycling tube is designed by Peter Erlandson and Jonna Solberg and manufactured in Sweden. The material is tough cardboard that is light yet sturdy. The black design with white text gives it a sleek look, even if you want to keep it on display.
