Lime in the dishwasher, washing machine, coffee brewer or in any of the other machines out there that use water, is not fun. Lime deposits are a result of hard, lime-rich water and after a while they can lead to inefficient water flow and hot water can take longer to heat. The build-up of lime blockages in the pipes can require either cleaning by a plumber or replacement of the pipes entirely.

Magnetism, however, can affect the lime molecules and other mineral salts in the water so that they do not stick to the pipes and build up to a blockage.

The technique used is called "magnetohydrodynamics" which means that through magnetism, the polarization of mineral salts in fresh water, especially in hard, lime-rich water, is changed. The result is better water and drinks, healthier skin and hair, cleaner dishes and softer, fluffier laundry. Pretty great, right? You can see and feel that the water is "cleaner".

The mineral magnet's strong magnetic field changes the polarization of mineral salts and minimises lime blockages that build up in fresh water pipes. The magnet is easy to install in the incoming fresh water pipes and fits all pipes up to a diameter of 3.8 cm.

The amount of lime deposits in the water pipe before installation determines how long it will take to notice results, as thick coating on the inside of the pipes can take time to break down, but results are usually marked between 15-90 days.
