- Can be released even when the hook is loaded
- Use with boat hook, Scrubbis
- Grips round pole up to 33 mm and can handle 1.5 tons
The HandyDock lifting hook functions like a traditional carabiner but can be opened even when it is loaded. The hook is used together with the boat hook (sold separately) and allows you to reach dock rings, buoys, clamps, and other lifting points without having to hang over the railing or jump between the boat and the dock.
Lift the boat with the hook
The mooring hook is mounted in the fitting on the boat hook (sold separately) when you need to lift. With the boat hook, you bring the HandyDock to, for example, a buoy or a Y-bom and secure it. The boat hook then releases from the hook while the HandyDock remains in the lifting point.Release from the boat
When it’s time to release, the hooked part of the boat hook is inserted into the hole on the side of the HandyDock. A pull opens the hook. The design allows the HandyDock to be opened even when it is heavily loaded since the mechanism itself is not loaded.Multiple options for lifting
The HandyDock can be used for lifting at dock rings, buoys, clamps on docks, and Y-boms. By handling the hook with a boat hook, you can stay on board both when adding and when you release.Compatibility
The mooring hook fits round poles with a diameter of up to 33 mm and can handle a pulling force of 1.5 tons. When lifting in a loop, the inner diameter must not be less than 45 mm.The mooring hook must be used together with the boat hook, Scrubbis to function properly.
