- With water reservoir and water indicator
- Lightweight, UV-resistant and shock-resistant construction
- For indoor and outdoor use
Self-watering pot with a built-in water reservoir that helps the plant to self-absorb the right amount of water as needed, providing consistent watering while reducing the risk of overwatering. At the same time, the pot is both lightweight, UV-resistant and shock-resistant, making it suitable for use both indoors and outdoors.
Smart self-watering system
At the bottom of the self-watering pot there is a water reservoir that can easily be filled through the opening at the top of the inner pot. An integrated water indicator shows when it is time to refill the water. The pot uses a smart system where the plant's own roots can grow through the inner pot down to the water reservoir to provide consistent watering. Read further down for instructions on how to do it.Light and durable construction
The self-watering pot is made of durable PP plastic that combines low weight with high durability. The material is also UV-resistant, which means that the pot maintains its appearance better even with prolonged exposure to sunlight. For indoor and outdoor use
When used indoors, the included bottom plug should be in place to prevent leakage. When used outdoors, the plug is removed so that excess rainwater can drain out through the bottom. This prevents water from accumulating in the pot and reduces the risk of the plant becoming overwatered.Reduces overwatering
The self-watering pot is equipped with a practical inner pot with handles. In the inner pot, the plants or flowers are planted, while the water reservoir is placed in the outer pot. This way, excess water can drain down into the water reservoir, which also reduces the risk of overwatering. How to do this
1. Plant the plants or flowers in the inner pot, placing the included clay pebbles at the bottom.2. For the first few weeks, the plant needs to be watered in the usual way from above. How long this takes varies depending on the type of plant, but typically about 10–12 weeks. During this period, the plant develops its root system.
3. Lift the inner pot and check the root development.
4. When the roots have grown down to the clay pebbles, they are long enough to start using the self-watering system to the fullest.
