The heel device is a very effective anti-slip device, providing good grip on icy streets. The anti-slip device is easily fastened with Velcro around the heel and has a highly reflective 3M reflector on the rear of the heel that provides visibility in the dark.
The sturdy anti-slip device is very easy to attach to the shoe and is fastened with a Velcro strap. The studs under the heel provide good grip as soon as you put your foot down. The grooves on the sole also help to provide good traction as you walk. You can leave the heel devices on when riding a bike, driving a car and getting on a bus but you should take them off when you step into shops as they can become slippery and possibly also damage floors.
The anti-slip device is made of thermoelastic rubber, making it somewhat elastic even in minus degrees. The studs are made of durable hard metal and are of the same type as studs used in car tires.
Each package contains a pair of anti-slip heel devices. They are available in several sizes and fit all sizes from children's shoes size 32 to large size 50 winter boots.
The anti-slip heel device is CE-marked and developed in collaboration with VTT Technical Research Centre, Finland.
