It purifies 500 ml of water in just 10 seconds, effectively eliminating viruses, bacteria, protozoa, chemicals, flavours and odours. Whether you're on a hiking trail in the wilderness or travelling in areas with poor tap water, the water purification bottle offers smooth and effective water purification.
Fast and safe water purification wherever you are
The water purification bottle's filter contains ceramic fibres that effectively remove 99.99% of viruses, 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa - including dangerous microorganisms such as E. coli, Giardia, Cryptosporidium, Norovirus and Hepatitis A. In addition, particles such as sediment and microplastics are filtered. The advanced carbon filter technology also adsorbs chemicals, heavy metals, pesticides, PFAS, VOCs and unwanted flavours and odours. Ideal for purifying both tap water in countries with poor water quality and water from streams in the wilderness (the water purification bottle is tested to international standards (NSF/ANSI 42 & 53, as well as EPA guidelines for microbiological purification) and works effectively on all seven continents).Efficient water purification in just 10 seconds
Thanks to OnePress technology, it's easy to fill the bottle, squeeze and drink. With a flow rate of 3 litres per minute, the Grayl water purification bottle is fast and efficient - perfect for quickly refilling your water bottle, cooking vessel or hydration bladder. To use it, pull the inner and outer bottles apart, fill the outer container from a stream, lake or tap, vent the cap by half a turn, then press down on the inner bottle using your body weight. In seconds, you have access to clean, drinkable water - wherever you are.Replaceable filter
The filter in the water purification bottle lasts up to 300 purifications (150 litres) before it needs to be changed. As the filter nears the end of its life, it becomes heavier to push the water through - when the pushing takes 25-30 seconds, it's time to change (or when 3 years have passed since first use). However, the filter will continue to purify the water during this time. The lifetime of the filter may be reduced if you frequently purify water with a lot of sediment, silt or tannins, which is common in some surface waters. In such cases, it may be useful to pre-filter the water to maximise the filter's durability. With proper storage, an unopened filter can last up to ten years.
