The mini smoke detector from Cavius is a small optical smoke alarm with a powerful siren that warns when a fire starts. The smoke detector is only 4 cm in diameter and 4.1 cm high, making it as big as a golf ball. It has a long battery life of either 5 or 10 years and is easy to install. Perfect for both home, cabin, caravan, and motorhome.
Discreet and compact design
The mini smoke detector is approximately the size of a golf ball and is one of the smallest smoke detectors on the market. The sleek and discreet shape makes it suitable for all types of environments where you want fire protection to be as unobtrusive as possible.Easy to install
The smoke detector is mounted on the ceiling and should be placed with about 50 cm of free space around it for best functionality. You can choose to attach it with double-sided tape (available separately for 10 years) or with the included plug and screw.Optical sensor
The Cavius mini smoke detector uses an optical sensor that reacts when smoke particles break the light beam inside the detector. When smoke is detected, a powerful and penetrating alarm of 85 dB is activated to warn you in time of a fire.Smart pause function
If the smoke detector is activated by, for example, cooking smoke or burnt bread, you can easily press the test button to pause the alarm for 10 minutes. In the meantime, you can ventilate the smoke before the smoke detector automatically returns to normal monitoring.Function test
With a short press on the test button, you check that all functions work as they should. To reduce the volume during the test, you can hold your finger over the siren hole while the test is performed.Long battery life
The mini smoke detector comes in two variants with either a 5-year replaceable battery or a 10-year built-in battery (non-replaceable). The smoke detector cannot be interconnected.Specifications
