The Drop Mat from Elementric is a smart leakage sensor for areas where water can cause damage, such as under appliances, at pipe runs, or in technology cabinets. When the mat comes into contact with liquid, an audible alarm is activated, while SMS and notifications are sent via the accompanying Elementric app. The built-in temperature sensor also warns of low temperatures, making it usable in environments where there is a risk of freezing.
Alarm via sound and app
When the drop mat detects liquid, a clear sound alarm is activated immediately on the device. Through the Elementric app, you can set how you want to be notified, such as with push notifications or SMS. This ensures you are quickly alerted regardless of whether you are on-site or not.Leakage monitoring in risk-prone areas
The drop mat measures 50 x 13 cm and is designed to be placed where the risk of leakage is highest, such as at inlets and outlets under a washing machine or dishwasher. By placing the sensor directly where water could start to drip, you receive an early alarm and can act before extensive damage occurs. For larger or hard-to-reach areas, the protection can be extended with the included 2-meter sensor cable, which connects directly to the drop mat.App control and wireless connection
The sensor integrates with the Elementric app and connects wirelessly via 2.4 GHz WiFi. It can also be configured via Bluetooth, which simplifies installation. Temperature monitoring provides extra security by warning when the temperature drops below 10 °C. This makes the product suitable for places like basements, summer houses, or other areas where the temperature risks becoming too low.

Long battery life and stable operation
The drop mat is powered by two AAA batteries and has an estimated battery life of over four years, meaning it does not require ongoing maintenance. The drop mat is designed for use in temperatures between 5-60 °C and at a maximum humidity of 80 %.Type approved according to new industry rule 2026:1

1. Hold the button down for 5 seconds. When the light shines blue, the drop mat is ready to connect.
2. Connect the sensor cable to the drop mat.
3. Placement at the sink or dishwasher: Place the drop mat inside or under the sink cabinet, close to the water line, with the arrow pointing towards the water line. If you are using the sensor cable behind the dishwasher, place it on the floor near the water hose.
4. Placement under the refrigerator: Place the drop mat at the front under the refrigerator, at the edge of the drip tray, with the arrow pointing towards you. Place the sensor cable under both the fridge and the freezer.
