The water alarm from Elementric is a smart leakage sensor for tight spaces where water can cause damage, such as under appliances, at pipe connections, or in technical cabinets. When the alarm comes into contact with just five drops, an audible signal is activated, while SMS and notifications are sent via the accompanying Elementric app. The built-in temperature sensor also warns of low temperatures, making it usable in environments where frost is a risk.

With just five drops, a clear sound alarm is activated directly on the device. Through the Elementric app, you can also set how you want to be notified, such as with push notifications or SMS. This ensures you are quickly alerted whether you are on-site or not.Leakage monitoring in at-risk areas
The water alarm is designed to be placed in tight spaces where the risk of leakage is greatest, such as at the in- and outlet under the washing machine or dishwasher. By placing the sensor directly where water is likely to start dripping, you receive an early alarm and can act before the damage becomes extensive. For larger or hard-to-reach areas, the protection can be expanded with the included 2-meter sensor cable, which connects directly to the alarm.App control and wireless connection
The sensor integrates with the Elementric app and connects wirelessly via 2.4 GHz WiFi. It can also be configured via Bluetooth, simplifying installation. Temperature monitoring provides extra assurance by warning when the temperature drops below 10 °C. This makes the water alarm suitable for, for example, storage rooms, holiday homes, or other spaces where the temperature may become too low.

Long battery life and stable operation
Elementric is powered by two AAA batteries and has an estimated battery life of more than four years, which means it does not require ongoing maintenance. The water alarm is intended for use in temperatures between 5-60 °C and at a maximum humidity of 80 %.Certified according to Safe Water
Under the new Safe Water regulations 2026:1, the requirements for protection against water leakage in kitchens have been tightened. There must be an active protection with a moisture sensor that can detect water and that is connected to a water alarm, a leakage breaker, or a water fault breaker.
The water alarm is type-approved and complies with the industry rule Safe Water 2026:1. The type approval means that the alarm has been evaluated against the applicable requirements and that the manufacturing is subject to control. For you as a customer, this means a documented protection that is adapted to the new industry requirements for detecting water leakage in the kitchen.
Here's how to do it
1. Hold the button pressed for 5 seconds. When the light turns blue, the drip mat is ready to connect.
2. Connect the sensor cable to the drip mat.
3. Placement at the sink or dishwasher: Place the drip mat in or under the sink cabinet, near the water line, with the arrow pointing towards the water line. If you are using the sensor cable behind the dishwasher, place it on the floor near the water hose.
4. Placement under the refrigerator: Place the drip mat at the front under the refrigerator, at the edge of the drip tray, with the arrow pointing towards you. Place the sensor cable under both the fridge and freezer.
