MAUS Stixx Pro is a patented fire protection solution that automatically activates at 180 °C and suppresses the fire at an early stage. The smart design is developed to provide effective fire protection in small and enclosed spaces such as electrical cabinets, vehicles, and boats. Installation is simple, and the unit operates completely without electricity, pressurized containers, or wiring. Once in place, it provides up to five years of maintenance-free protection.
Automatic activation in case of fire
MAUS Stixx Pro automatically activates when the temperature reaches 180 °C, allowing it to react early in the fire development. When triggered, it releases a potassium-based aerosol consisting of very small particles and harmless gases. The non-toxic aerosol disrupts the fire's chemical reaction and removes heat from the fire. The fire is extinguished quickly and effectively without depleting the oxygen in the space, making the solution particularly suitable for small and enclosed areas with electrical installations.
Developed for electrical spaces
With a protection area of up to 0.1 m³, MAUS Stixx Pro is adapted for smaller, confined spaces where a fire could otherwise quickly cause significant damage. It can be placed in electrical cabinets, fuse boxes, battery compartments, and motor compartments in boats or RVs.
Quick and easy installation
MAUS Stixx Pro has a self-adhesive back and is mounted directly in the space to be protected. The compact size of 9.8 x 1 x 1.8 cm allows it to fit easily even in tight spaces where traditional fire protection solutions do not fit. It operates completely independently and requires neither power supply, pressurized containers, nor wiring.
Five years of protection without maintenance
Once installed, MAUS Stixx Pro provides continuous protection for up to five years. This offers a safe and long-term solution for those looking to reduce fire risk without the need for regular maintenance. After five years, it is recommended to replace the unit to ensure optimal function.
Operational in both cold and heat
The fire protection is designed to operate in temperatures from -30 °C to +70 °C. This makes it suitable for environments with large temperature fluctuations, such as summer houses, boats, RVs, and garages.
