Springyard Sandygrip is a crampon developed for you who move in urban environments and often switch between indoor and outdoor settings. Instead of traditional metal studs, they are equipped with ceramic plates that provide good grip on winter surfaces - without damaging floors or feeling bulky. The crampons are made from durable natural rubber and are equipped with ceramic plates that have double wear surfaces. When one side has worn out, the plates can easily be reversed, providing renewed grip and extending the product's lifespan.

Unlike classic crampons with metal studs, Sandygrip has two ceramic plates underfoot, which is particularly suitable in urban environments where you go in and out of stores, offices, or public transport. You avoid the harsh clicking sound on floors and reduce the risk of marks on sensitive surfaces. At the same time, the crampons have a grip factor of 4 out of 5, which provides excellent traction on slippery surfaces like ice and packed snow.

On which surfaces do the spikes work?
They work best on ice, frost, and packed snow. They are designed for winter surfaces in urban environments and perform well when walking on sidewalks, walkways, and similar surfaces.
Do ceramic plates provide as good grip as metal spikes?
Sandygrip has a grip factor of 4 out of 5, which provides very good adhesion on ice and packed snow. For extremely icy conditions or more demanding terrain, we recommend our extreme spikes.
Can I use them indoors?
Yes, the ceramic plates are gentler on floors than metal spikes, allowing you to walk into stores, offices, and public transport without needing to take them off. The spikes do not produce the same clicking sound on hard floors as traditional spikes.
What does it mean that the plates are reversible?
The ceramic plates have two wear surfaces. When one side is worn, you can easily flip the plates to use the other side.
Can natural rubber stain shoes?
Yes, natural rubber is a natural material and can in some cases stain light-colored shoes. We recommend being extra cautious when using it on very light materials.
